StoryCloud is a children’s media and education company founded in Australia for Australian families. Our stories reflect the voices, places, and communities of our vibrant, diverse nation. We blend immersive entertainment with values led learning, delivering high production value stories shaped by educational expertise. Powered by our StoryEngine, the mobile app turns stories into interactive, adaptive experiences across video, audio, and read along, so learning feels natural for children and easy for families to integrate into everyday routinesWe believe every child should have access to high quality educational content regardless of background or circumstance. Our holistic curriculum spans: literacy, numeracy, digital safety, diversity and inclusion, environmental stewardship, social and emotional learning, and practical life skills. Our mission is to make learning engaging, inclusive, and meaningful by pairing imaginative storytelling with thoughtful learning design and family friendly features. StoryCloud Founded
StoryCloud began as a creative side project - an escape from the routine of a 9-to-5. What started with print-based kids' books soon evolved into a mission-driven venture dedicated to inspiring curiosity, creativity, and environmental stewardship in children. By combining immersive storytelling with natural language AI technology, StoryCloud set out to make learning fun, interactive, and inclusive for families.
The Family Grows
StoryCloud’s world-class advisory board brings together leaders from education, technology, and media, with experience across Google, Meta, Mozilla, CSIRO, the University of Sydney, the Australian Federal Police, and D’Vinci Group. Founding advisors Julie, Jesil, Lindsay, and Silvia laid the foundation, now strengthened by Pete and Shaon, experts in AI, curriculum, and storytelling who continue to guide our mission with deep insight and proven industry leadership.

In preparation for our wider rollout, the StoryCloud website launched with the first set of stories, platform details, and StoryEngine previews. This milestone marked our transition from prototype to public-facing product, building awareness, testing engagement, and laying the foundation for mobile app distribution.
MVP Mobile App Finished & Launched
The audio-first StoryCloud mobile app officially launches on Google Play and Apple App Store, bringing families safe, engaging stories with profiles and parental controls. Designed for everyday use, the app ensured content was accessible at home, in learning centres, and on the go - setting the stage for future multimodal features including video and read-along.
Early Learning Programs Go Live
Our Early Learning Program was rolled out through CCS-aligned access in centres, giving families affordable entry into the full StoryCloud library on their own devices. This launch established a clear B2B2C pathway, aligning centre economics with family engagement. Preorders also opened for the iPad Bundle, delivering device equity and simple, all-in-one packages that combined hardware, app access, and service. The first bundles are scheduled to reach families in time for Christmas.
14,000 Minutes of Edutainment Audiobooks Produced & Published
Looking ahead, we will reach an ambitious milestone of 350+ completed audiobook stories, over 14,000 minutes of immersive, high quality edutainment content. With expansion into video, and read along formats scheduled for early 2026. The milestone is made possible through our collaboration with D’Vinci Ltd, whose work on the platform and StoryEngine makes large scale, efficient story generation possible.
Launch Party & Charity Event (Canberra)
StoryCloud’s official launch event will bring together families, educators, community partners, and sponsors. Hosted in Canberra, the event will combine celebration with social impact, raising funds in partnership with Communities at Work while showcasing StoryCloud’s vision for accessible, values-driven early learning.
